Last updated: October 2026
Hospo Safe Solution ("we", "us", "our") is a food safety consultancy based in Parramatta, New South Wales. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we collect and hold it, why we use it, who we share it with, and how you can access, correct or complain about our handling of it. It applies to our website, hosposafesolution.com.au, and to the audit, consulting and training services we provide.
The kinds of personal information we collect depend on how you deal with us. It may include:
• Contact details: your name, business or organisation, email address, phone number and business location.
• Enquiry details: what you tell us about your business and the services you are interested in.
• Engagement information: details about your premises, operations, food safety program, records and staff that we need to carry out audits, consulting work or training, including the names of staff who attend training.
• Billing information: the details needed to issue and process invoices. We do not store card details.
• Website data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you reached our site, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
We only collect what we need to respond to you and to deliver our services.
We collect personal information directly from you when you complete our enquiry form, email or call us, book a consultation or training, or work with us during an engagement. We may also collect it from your organisation, for example when an employer books training for staff, and automatically when you use our website.
If you give us information about another person, such as a staff member, please make sure they know you have done so and how we will use it.
We collect, hold and use personal information to:
• Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes.
• Deliver regulatory food safety audits, HACCP and food safety consulting, and training.
• Prepare audit reports, corrective action records, food safety documentation and training records.
• Issue invoices and manage our relationship with you.
• Improve our website and services.
• Send you information about our services where you have asked for it. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:
• State food regulators. Where an audit is conducted under a state regulatory food safety audit scheme, audit reports and outcomes may be provided to the relevant regulator as that scheme requires.
• Service providers that help us run our business, such as email, cloud storage, website hosting, accounting and training record systems.
• Professional advisers, such as accountants, lawyers and insurers, where needed.
• Anyone else where you have agreed, or where the law requires or permits it.
Some of the service providers we use, such as email and cloud storage providers, may store information on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where we use these providers we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We hold personal information in password-protected cloud systems and devices and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. Audit and training records are kept for the periods required by the relevant regulators and standards. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will assess it and notify affected people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires it.
Our website uses cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. This information is not used to identify you personally. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work as intended without them.
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time. If we cannot provide access or make a correction, we will explain why.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can look into it. We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it and respond to you within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
