Where we provide services to you, these terms apply together with any written quote, proposal or engagement letter we give you. If there is any inconsistency, the written quote, proposal or engagement letter prevails.
The information on this website is general in nature. It is not legal advice, and it is not advice about your specific business. Food safety requirements differ between states, councils and types of business, and they change over time.
Responsibility for producing safe food and meeting food standards always remains with the food business. Please contact us for advice about your own situation before relying on anything published here.
We provide regulatory food safety audits, HACCP and food safety system consulting, compliance support and food safety training to food businesses. The scope of each engagement, the fees and the timing are agreed in writing before work begins. Any change to the agreed scope will be confirmed in writing and may change the fee.
Regulatory food safety audits are conducted under the audit scheme of the relevant state food regulator. We are required to audit against the applicable standards and to report findings accurately, and audit reports and outcomes may be provided to the regulator as the scheme requires.
An audit records what we observe on the day. We cannot guarantee a particular audit outcome, and completing corrective actions is the responsibility of the food business.
Training bookings are confirmed in writing. Attendance, assessment and completion requirements for each program are set out in the booking confirmation. Training records and any certificates are issued only to participants who complete the program.
Requests to reschedule or cancel training should be made as early as possible. Any fees that apply to late changes or cancellations are stated in your booking confirmation.
Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. Fees are payable in the currency and within the payment terms shown on our invoice. Travel, accommodation or other disbursements are only charged where they have been agreed in advance.
If an invoice is not paid on time we may suspend further work until payment is received.
To allow us to do our work you agree to give us accurate and complete information about your business, reasonable access to your premises, people and records, and a safe working environment during site visits. Decisions about your business, including whether and how to implement our recommendations, remain yours.
The content of this website, including text, images, illustrations and layout, is owned by or licensed to Hospo Safe Solution and is protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for your own business use but may not reproduce or distribute them without our written permission.
Documents we prepare for you, such as food safety programs, HACCP plans and training materials, may be used within your business for the purpose they were prepared. Our underlying templates, methods and tools remain our property. Your own records and business information remain yours.
We keep information about your business confidential and use it only to provide our services, except where disclosure is required by law, by a regulator or by the terms of an audit scheme, or where you have agreed to it. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those guarantees.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or reputation. We are not liable for the decisions, actions or outcomes of regulators, certification bodies, councils or your customers.
